Picadillo de Pipian (green squash cuts)

Picadillo de Pipian is a typical dish from the country I come from. Nevertheless, there are different types of picadillos. For example, we have picadillo de papa (potatoe cuts), picadillo de chayote (chayote squash cuts), picadillo de bainicas (string beans cuts) and picadillo de repollo (cabbage cuts). I will be featuring all of these dishes in the near future. This particular picadillo is great and easy to prepare. I like to serve it as a side dish. You can accompany it with white rice and any meat you wish.
